Posted in Air Regulator on August 16th, 2011 by admin – 1,059 Comments

All air-driven devices like pneumatic actuators, valves and air-tools have a desired working pressure to operate and to function accordingly. Too low will make them to not work properly or cease functioning, too high pressure causes the seal to burst and leak. It really is very important to fix the pressure prior to hooking up your preferred air-tools, if you accidentally attach a tool that intended to have 85 psi to a 200 psi outlet it could be really deadly and can explode or ruin the tool itself.

Among the essential parts of an air compressor is the pneumatic-regulator unit. When you obtain a completely new air compressor that is commonly employed in transportable pneumatic or air equipment, a filter-regulator device is already fitted on it.  They’re already outfitted with modular pneumatic filter-regulator unit as normal accessory.

This is where the compressor regulator comes into action. The air-regulator maintains the preset pressure before going to the device. If the pressure from the compressor tank increases the air regulator will still keep the pre-programmed pressure. The air regulator can only prevent the air pressure from going above the desired pressure however it can’t compensate it if the pressure from the air tank loses below the desired pressure. Just in case the pressure from the second side grows, it has a built-in release valve mechanism that enables it to bleed the too much pressure until it reaches the set pressure. It has a huge knob on top of it that can be turn to correct the pressure output.

A pressure gauge is normally bundled to monitor the secondary pressure. Without the gauge it will be difficult to alter the regulator system because that you have no way of telling just how much pressure is present on the secondary side. In some compressor equipments you will see 2 sets of gauge that’s for the primary and the output side.

Luminess Air – Airbrush Make Up System – A Review

Posted in Airbrush Kit on June 22nd, 2011 by admin – 692 Comments

Hey guys. Well, I really wanted to do a video review of the LuminessAirbrush Kit for you all, but not happening right now. Between my camera, the stinking sim card and blogger doing something odd to the video, it’s a no go. I wasted two extra days messing around with it, but as soon as I get over to WP and learn  what I’m doing on the new platform, I’m going to do a  How to do your make up in 1 minute vid, using the Luminess Air for the foundation, blush and shimmer, because it’s awesome!

So, I’m going to tell you all about the Luminess Air, an airbrush make up system. I know from emails, that there are at least 10 or 12 of you that have a mad money stash, like mine that you have just for beauty gadgets, treatments and the like.

I sincerely think you need to put this on your  I WANT  list. No way am I ever going back to regular foundation. There’s just  no point after you try this. It’s FAST. Perfect base in a few seconds. You can control the coverage without it ever looking heavy. Go sheer, go medium, go total- it looks natural. It blends- you can feather in your jawline like magic, no demarcation line. Since it’s me talking, I have to admit it’s fun. I’m a gadget junky and this just appeals to me. There are no limits on finding a perfect color match, and mixing colors is as easy as adding a few drops to the well. It’s compact. Comes in a pretty little silver kit. Openings for the on off switch, and one for the adaptor. No confusing controls- just on and off. The application itself is terribly easy. You hold the actual stylus a few inches away from your face, pull the “trigger” and basically wave your gun around in nice sweeping motions everywhere you want coverage. I’ve had airbrush tans and if you have had them as well, you know exactly what I mean. Easy. Took me all of 10 seconds to get the hang of it.
It comes with a starter kit with 4 foundation colors, a pearlizer,  a primer/moisturizer, ( but any oil-free lotion is fine), a bronzer and a blush. Even doing the blush is a piece of cake. I’m not fond of the color blush I received, it has too much of a yellow tone for me, but applying it is easy as the foundation. Also included are two eyeshadow colors, which again, too yellow (browns, just not my shade) good news is, they do work on my daughter so it’s all good. You get a DVD, and a quick start guide as well. And, a bottle so you can mix water and isopropyl alcohol in it, to keep your stylus clean. Which amounts to dripping the water/alcohol solution in the well and spraying till it’s clear
